Job Title: Senior Controls Engineer
Job Location: Remote in the San Francisco Bay Area
Job Salary: Depends on Experience - Up to 170k/yr
Requirements: Integration, Documentation, Profibus, Rockwell OR Schneider PLC programming

We concentrate on developing, assembling, and integrating electrical and process control systems for use in transportation, lighting, wastewater treatment, and renewable energy applications.

As a Senior PLC Engineer, you will lead the development and execution of PLC projects with a specialization in Profibus communication protocol. Drawing upon your extensive experience, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle from concept to commissioning, ensuring seamless integration and exceptional performance of PLC systems. Your role will encompass collaboration with cross-functional teams, technical leadership, troubleshooting, and providing invaluable expertise to drive successful project outcomes.

What You Will Be Doing

- Develop PLC architectures and write efficient, reliable code to control and automate industrial processes, with an emphasis on Profibus communication.
- Lead the commissioning process, ensuring proper setup, testing, and validation of PLC systems to achieve optimal performance and functionality.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Profibus communication protocol, configuring devices, and troubleshooting network-related issues.
- Oversee project schedules, resource allocation, and deliverables to meet project milestones and client expectations.

What You Need for this Position

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.
- Applied knowledge in programming major manufacturers (Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, Siemens, etc.) PLCs & OITs
- Project Commissioning experience
- Profibus experience is a strong nice to have
- Excellent understanding of computer operations, Microsoft Office
- Excellent knowledge of instruments and electro-mechanical devices used for process control
- At least 5+ years of related experience
