DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design and develop financial quantitative analytical models for financial applications to provide risk predictions and portfolio optimization for assets and wealth management portfolio managers and advisors. Develop analytical capabilities or model libraries. Migrate MATLAB-based application to Python-based to improve compatibility and scalability. Create deployment scripts to deploy multiple financial applications to other platforms to create a secure environment. Define internal quantitative modeling specifications for business partners and developers to access micro-services for portfolio management experiments across multiple platforms. Investigate, analyze, and document incidents. Implement quantitative models such as Regression Analysis and Monte Carlo Simulation for short-term and long-term risk predictions. Analyze large financial datasets using statistical techniques, data visualization tools and software to support quantitative researchers and business owners making critical business decisions. Design, build, and maintain scalable and high-performance big data infrastructure using different technologies. Develop and implement data pipelines, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and transform large volumes of data from various sources.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Quantitative Methods and Modeling, Finance, Financial Engineering, or related field of study plus 1 (One) year of experience in the job offered or as Analyst, Financial Analyst, Financial Systems Analyst, Operations Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Docker; Oracle; GIT; Python; SOAP; REST; SQL; SciPy; Statsmodels; Numpy; Pandas; Tableau; Apache Kafka; and Agile Methodologies.

Job Location: 575 Washington Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07310. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.

Full-Time. Salary: $156,700.00-$215,000.00 per year.
