Position: Lead BI Data Engineer

Job Duties:

1. Formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists Insight management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions.
2. Designing, developing, troubleshooting, evaluating, deploying, and documenting data management and business intelligence systems, enabling stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions.
3. Building secure, available, scalable, stable, and cost-effective data solutions using data storage technologies, distributed file system, data processing, and business intelligence best practices.
4. Working with business customers in understanding the business requirements and implementing solutions to support analytical and reporting needs.
5. Designs and builds complex BI reports, scorecards and dashboards, based on specifications as requested
6. Harness creativity to render information useful in data storytelling
7. Develop and Integrate Advance Analytics Solutions using Machine Learning Algorithms
8. Translate requirements into clean, efficient and quality code.
9. Position is based out of Chandler, Arizona HQ, but telecommuting is permitted on a case-by-case basis.

Salary : Available upon request

Work Schedule: 40 hours/week

Job Requirements:

Education Requirements: Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related.

Experience Requirements: 24 months in job offered, Consultant, or closely related.

Special skills requirements:

1. Experience gathering requirements and acting in analytical projects.
2. Experience working with SQL Server for extracting and utilizing data.
3. Experience creating end to end analytical projects that include gathering and transforming data and creating analytical models to create better strategies and reduce costs.
4. Experience creating marketing analytical models to optimize sales by creating strategies of segmentation.
5. Experience using PowerShell and VBA to automate tasks like extraction and transfer of data, and updating reports.
