Job description
Position: Warehouse Operator
Location: Exton, PA 19341
Duration: 1+ Year("Possible Extension")
Shift Schedule: 7:30 am - 4 pm, Monday - Friday (40 Hours per week)
Summary: Warehousing operations, including but not limited to the moving, loading, storing, inventorying, labeling, and billing of finished products, in accordance. Coating Systems safety standards and procedures as well as 2nd party requirements, using computer applications, physical labor, and powered warehousing equipment such as fork lifts, high-rise order pickers, in order to supply and service customer demands with the highest quality products on time and in full without error.
Responsibilities:
- Palletizer - the transportation of finished products from the production lines to the warehouse for storage and/or orders
- Basic SAP knowledge (troubleshooting managed by the Product Distribution Technicians)
- Operation of powered material handling equipment (PMHE) to move, store, load, and unload hazardous finished product(s).
- Physically pick, assemble, and load customer orders (LTL or small package systems) of multiple products, in multiple size containers.
- Computer processing of inventory controls, shipping manifests, packing lists, and billing information.
- Responsible to clean and/or assist with cleaning spills
Qualification Requirements:
- Knowledge of basic warehousing functions
- Ability to use hand tools
- Ability to be licensed to operate PMHE
- Ability to lift up to 75 Lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work in a wide range of climates
- Ability to work in a safe manner
- Ability to work in a self managed environment
- Ability to work occasional overtime or other assigned scheduled determined by the manager
