Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search  is seeking an associate attorney with health care expertise to join its Corporate Services Group (CSG). Attorneys have an exciting opportunity to learn from and work closely with energetic, high experienced legal practitioners in a friendly, cooperative environment.

• Simultaneously handles the high-level and strategic aspects of multiple legal matters at different stages of progression, from inception to conclusion
• Possess strong attention to detail and good interpersonal skills for communicating with attorneys and clients
• Demonstrates an ability to work independently and productively and show a strong interest in advancing a career in CSG
• Produces quality legal work and bills the required amounts of hours to ensure excellent client services

Education : Juris Doctor

Licenses and/or Certifications : Licensed to practice law in good standing in one or more jurisdictions where the Firm conducts business; must maintain applicable license renewal and CLE requirements

Required Experience: 4+ years’ relevant experience in ACA, Healthcare Benefits, Qualified Plan compliance with IRS and Department of Labor, Multi-employer plans, benefits in mergers and acquisitions; substantial experience in drafting, reviewing motions, and court filings.

Preferred Experience : 5-8 years’ experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm
