Job description

The Institute for Innovation and Implementation at the University of Maryland School of Social Work has an opportunity for a Senior Training Specialist, who will serve as a Multisystemic Therapy (MST) Expert.This position will lead all model implementation across the state, including but not limited to training and guidance in the theory and application of MST to personnel involved with the MST program and who hold a variety of positions including clinicians, supervisors, administrators, and policy makers. The MST Expert will provide MST programs weekly telephone consultation, ongoing training to the MST therapists and supervisors, and support regarding organizational and systems issues. The selected candidate will also be responsible for the development of training programs and components using implementation science and continuous quality improvement to make data driven decisions. This individual will also collaborate with state partners to assess and develop implementation, training, and technical assistance plans to support and improve collaboration among key stakeholders and model providers.

Essential Functions:

 

Qualifications

  

Education:M.S in Social Work, Counseling, or related field required.
Experience:Two (2) years of experience as an MST Supervisor and prior experience providing community-based and home-based service delivery using systemic approaches to treatment. Must be able to teach and make effective public presentations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


The Hiring Range for this position is in the mid $70,000s to low $90,000s, commensurate with education and experience.
