Description Georgetown’s College of Arts and Sciences seeks an adjunct professor for its undergraduate program in Journalism to teach a course on ‘The Media Industry’ at the university’s downtown campus in Fall 2024. Taking advantage of the university’s location in Washington, D.C., the Georgetown Journalism Program and its distinguished faculty of practitioners provides instruction in both the theory and practice of journalism across a wide variety of areas. The program serves students across many of the university’s schools, departments and majors, and currently offers a minor to interested undergraduates. Qualifications Successful candidates will have a distinguished record of engagement with the field of journalism. Experience teaching journalism in a university setting is desirable, but not required. An advanced degree related to journalism or an area of subject matter expertise is also desirable, but not required.
