Want to be part of this? We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Summer UI Engineer Intern to join our Tux & Mobile engineering team. This Internship Program is designed to help you build the knowledge and skills for early career success. The Tux & Mobile engineering Intern will have the exciting opportunity to participate in web applications, and system analysis .
What you’ll do
· Evaluate legacy code, troubleshoot and restore as appropriate
· Develop technical specifications gathering and writing as needed to maintain system.
· Analyze, design, coordinate and supervise the development of software systems.
· Analyze system specifications and translate system requirements to task specifications for junior programmers.
· Develop and support Single page applications for formal wear web applications.
· Participate in resolution of production issues and lead efforts toward solutions
· Write effective unit tests and integration tests to ensure high quality software delivery, sprint after sprint.
· Incorporate ADA compliance and site optimization best practices as needed.
· Proactively identify process inefficiencies and evolve accordingly.
· Support ongoing content updates and bug fixes as needed.
· Work with your QA resources to ensure that the software you deliver is of the highest quality.
· Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to other developers.
What you’ll bring
· Junior or Senior candidate currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, or related field
· Interest in expanding knowledge with JavaScript and customer facing web applications development
· Excellent collaboration and communication skills
· Comfortable working in a hybrid remote working arrangement
· Extremely organized and self-motivated

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands
· Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
$20.00 to $25.00 per hour. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
