The Blick Center
Licensed Practical Nurse

• The Blick Center is looking for a caring and dedicated full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for their outpatient center and residential programs.
• The Blick Center provides services to individuals with developmental disabilities and/or a mental health diagnosis.
• No evenings or weekends

Duties include:

• Provide healthcare, support, and coordination of care
• Work closely with RN and direct care staff
• Assist in medication administration/health-related activity training to staff
• Document all nursing functions in the electronic medical record
• Relay pertinent health information to team members
• Assist the psychiatrist, primary care physician, and other health professionals, as needed.
• Attends program admission conferences, annual team meetings, and case reviews as needed
• Share on-call responsibilities (phone triage)

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Practical Nursing with current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Ohio.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience is required.
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
