The Role:

Coverfly is seeking a Business Development Manager to manage and grow relationships with respected entertainment industry leaders who will serve as mentors, jurors, panelists, and strategic advisors for our artist development programs. We currently have twenty-eight artist development programs, each with a different focus. In this role, you’ll be sourcing and fostering relationships through inbound and outbound methods with writers, literary agents, producers, organizations, and other relevant entities around the world. You’ll also serve as a brand ambassador in advocating for our products and services, and helping our users leverage our tools to accomplish their needs. 

Our 7-person team includes a Department Head, a Senior Manager, two Business Development Managers, a Partnerships Manager, and two Coordinators. We are a collaborative, supportive team that values autonomy and leans into individual strengths to achieve mutual goals. While fast-paced to match the changing and volatile market demands, we are passionate about providing resources and tools to help creatives. 

As this role will involve working across functions and with our VIP clientele, you should be a natural networker, self-motivated, highly organized, an excellent communicator, with a keen interest in the entertainment industry. While a remote role, proximity to Los Angeles area is highly preferred.

The Manager, Business Development will report to Coverfly’s Senior Manager, Business Development.

Compensation is commensurate with various factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, training, licensure, certifications, geographic cost of labor, and other business and organizational needs. Compensation range for candidates in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.

The compensation range for this position is:

$65,000—$75,000 USD
