We are seeking a Mainframe Developer. Provide general support for applications. The candidate must be proficient with mainframe platform skills including CICS, batch analysis, and SOAP web services. With the licensing system moving to a new platform, necessary skills include.NET development, and web services. The project that we are gearing up for is the refactoring of a mainframe application to a modern underlying infrastructure. The candidate will be expected to assist with the transition of the legacy mainframe application from CICS, COBOL, VSam to a .NET framework, C#, SQL environment.

Include all detailed requirements.
• Cross-train in generating web-services used to communicate between in-house and out-of-house applications that may, or may not, also reside on a mainframe.
• Become familiar with day-to-day support with the goal of accepting responsibilities such as: a) supporting m/f customer support; b) completing requests for ad hoc reporting; 3) analyzing and enhancing existing CICS and batch code in order to enhance processing or to resolve issues.
• Provide assistance in re-platforming mainframe applications to a yet-to-be-determined platform
