Job description

General Description: This position will be responsible for animal care for animals housed at the Loudoun Campus – Department of Veterinary Technology: Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Rats and Mice.Duties and Tasks:Feeding, exercising, medicating, and cleaning cages and runs for all animals housed with the Veterinary Technology Program.Maintaining all areas of the kennel in a clean and orderly fashion. Upkeep of laundry/bedding for animals.Working with animals from the shelter and monitoring and reporting any abnormal behavior and indications of illness.Filling out daily records and medication record.Inventory monitoring and restocking
