Job description

Flower Mound Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Centeris located in a brand-new building, which opened in July 2022. Located in Flower Mound, Texas, just north of Dallas, this new building hosts emergency services and our growing specialties. While the ER and Dentistry teams are already well-established in the area, we are excited to expand our expertise in the area with boarded surgeons, internists, ophthalmologists, oncologists, radiologists, cardiologists and dermatologists.

 

We are looking for full-time and part-time emergency veterinarians to help us grow our team!

 

We have an amazing team and pride ourselves on our outstanding medicine and deep compassion for our patients. We provide emergency and after-hours care, as well as ICU and Critical Care services. Some specific services include oxygen therapy, surgery, digital x-rays, ultrasound (including diagnostic abdominal US), blood transfusions, fluid therapy, and a full in-house laboratory. We have other board-certified specialists on-site to help with complicated cases and referrals.

 

Our team’s best qualities include compassion, empathy, and a hard work ethic. Our clients consider us to be caring and very knowledgeable. The newest team member must possess passion, respect, honesty, accountability, and the ability to have fun!

 

We are open 7 days a week, 24- hours.

The Veterinarian is responsible for providing high quality care to our patients while also developing rapport with their owners. In addition to physical examinations, surgeries, and dentistry, client communication and client education are of the upmost importance. It’s important that SVP Veterinarians treat each pet and client like part of the family.

 

This is an emergency position which means nights, weekends, and holiday shifts.

The bonus rate will be determined by their contracted production rate and the amount of excess production. Here, you can earn a greater share of the success you help create. Maternity Leave
FULL PAY for four weeks. Because mamas deserve it. Plus short-term disability at 60% of your salary (six weeks for natural birth, eight weeks for C-section), and all still in addition to your PTO. (P.S. We definitely want baby pics when you’re ready to share!)
