Job description
Project Accountant (PA) position is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organization. The PA will be responsible for providing financial and administrative support to ensure accuracy and efficiency of project accounting processes, ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget. The PA will be working closely with project managers, project controls, and other staff to support the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and review project costs, job costs, and job tracking.
- Prepare and process project invoices, payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Prepare and update project budgets, forecasts, and related financial reports.
- Work with project managers and contractors to ensure compliance to contractual obligations.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Provide financial/analytical support to project management on major projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a project accounting role.
- Knowledge of construction accounting, job costing, job tracking, and project control.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and with teams.
