As the Industrial Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC and other industrial machinery.
Duties/Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery and multi-purpose electronic control systems.
- Test and analyze malfunctions. Modify, repair, adjust, and maintain mechanical portions of control instruments.
- Operates machine through necessary cycles to check mechanical portion of electronic systems and detects any variations from specs.
- Analyze results of the tests to locate and determine cause of malfunction.
- Modifies and adjusts settings to related equipment in order to properly align mechanical systems.
- Repairs faulty components, re-tests system as necessary.
- Perform incidental welding in conjunction with the normal maintenance activities.
- Analyzes equipment malfunctions to determine if machine failure is originating in the control systems, or is of a mechanical nature.
- Sets up a variety of higher sensitive, precision test tools and equipment and conducts a series of involved operational tests.
- Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Pay and Shift info - Starting pay is $19-$26/hour, based on experience.
- 1st shift, Monday-Friday 7am 330pm, with availability to work OT as required.
- Direct hire or temp to hire opportunity with the company.
Skills/Qualifications - 5 years related experience. Prior experience with troubleshooting CNC equipment.
- Prior experience with welding.
- Experience with electrical wiring.
- Must be able to read and interpret mechanical hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams.
- Must have basic hand tools.
- 2 year technical degree preferred. High School Diploma or GED required.
- Will be subject to pre-employment screening.
