Urgent Requirement:
Job Title : Software Build/Release Admin
Location : Durham NC 27709 (ONSITE)
Duration: 12+ Months with possibility to extension
Job Description:
The Client requires the assistance of a contract resource to serve as a Build/Release Administrator to manage and upgrade source code repository Bitbucket/GIT/SVN for NC FAST applications; manage and support configuration changes; troubleshoot issues related to branching/merging and code repository.
This position will be responsible for performing tasks associated with the code repository upkeep and upgrade, managing and automating branch/Merge processes for the NCFAST and Child Welfare applications by preparing and executing automation scripts.
The position will also be responsible for creating and maintaining Ansible for automating various build/deploy tasks, providing support for Linux Administration efforts of AWS EC2 instances.
Knowledge and experience of administering J2EE applications in WebSphere Application Server 8/9, Apache Tomcat and Jboss

Experience in working with following operating systems: AIX, RHEL, and Windows Server 2008.

Knowledge and experience in J2EE-specific application hosting, including VM tuning, application tracing/debugging, and application deployment.

Knowledge and experience with J2EE application building/deployment techniques and tools including, but not limited to Ant, Maven, Ivy etc

Experience with automation technologies for the related platforms (OS and Application) such as Ansible, UNIX shell script, Perl, Python, etc.

Experience and/or certification in cloud platform like AWS, Azure, GCP

Knowledge on Bitbucket/Git Configurations, Branching and Merging.
