Inpatient Center Receptionist - Part Time
Every weekend & coverage for weekdays
What You Must Have - High School graduate, college preferred
- Valid Drivers License, reliable transportation and provide ongoing valid and current auto liability insurance
- At least one year experience in healthcare, preferably hospice operations
- Demonstrates good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of computer systems
- Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities
- Demonstrates organization, assertiveness, flexibility, cooperation in performing job responsibilities
- Experience with EMR software is a plus

What You Will Do - Provide clerical support which may include preparation of admission, orientation and new hire packets; monitoring and ordering office supplies and forms, typing, special projects, filing and copying.
- Facilitate the communications system which may include: mail distribution, pagers, phone system, memo's, answers incoming calls, documents and disseminates appropriate messages.
- Promote effective communication to patient/family, team members, and other health care professionals and maintain confidentiality.
- Competently handle multi-line phone system and demonstrate understanding of system features.
