What you'll be doing: - Relationship Building & Solution-Oriented Sales: Building and managing client and carrier relationships through cold calling, qualifying and closing deals in a dynamic sales setting
- Masterful Negotiation: Utilizing your negotiation prowess to determine competitive pricing with both carriers and shippers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements
- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily shipments, ensuring punctual pick-up and delivery, and swiftly addressing any unforeseen issues
- Logistics Expert: Immerse yourself in industry knowledge by analyzing market data to stay abreast of industry trends and market dynamics
Requirements
- Previous experience in selling full truckload (FTL) transportation services
- Customer-centric mindset and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable dealing with situational ambiguity
- Ability to work in a technologically advanced office setting
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment that requires problem-solving and decision making
