Job description

Gateway Rehab in Center Township, PA is looking for a Driver who is responsible for completing transportation requests. This position receives frequent supervision and instruction.

Responsibilities

• Completes the daily transportation requests made by staff, and post office pickups and deliveries.
• Monitor gateway vehicles including oil changes & inspections.
• Performs some mailroom duties as needed.
• Assist with counselor technician duties when not transporting.
• Attends mandatory GRC in-services and trainings.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to drive a car or van.
• Ability to communicate well with others.
• Good listening skills

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimal maintenance skills.

Additional Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Pass PA Criminal Background Check
• Obtain Child Abuse and FBI Clearances
• Pass Drug Screen
• TB Test

Work Conditions

• Drug and Alcohol Rehab Center
• Office Environment
• Favorable working conditions with the exception of inclement weather driving.
• Physical demands include lifting of moderate amounts of weight and sitting for extended periods.
• Moderate mental demands include assurance of well-maintained vehicles and adapting to schedule changes.
