Job Summary:

Development of policies, strategies and objectives that comply with federal, state and local laws applicable to the Company. Manage the preparation and filing of the Company's direct and indirect tax filings. Monitor reporting to ensure compliance with applicable tax statutes and generally accepted accounting principles.

Essential Functions:

•  Prepare schedules from financial ERP systems for annual federal and state income tax filings to provide to external CPA firm.
•  Manage and review completion of Federal and state income tax returns with external CPA firm.
•  Responsible for ASC 740 income tax footnotes and disclosures for annual audited consolidated financial statements.
•  Prepare tax projections including federal and state income tax estimated payments and budgeting for other taxes.
•  Oversee the preparation and filing of regular excise, sales & use and property tax filings per applicable state statutes.
•  Lead all aspects of tax audits and coordination with taxing authorities.
•  Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments. Works closely with the Company's compliance team.
•  Collaborate across functional teams and service providers.
•  Communicate effectively at all levels to align tax strategy with business objectives and priorities, making complex tax concepts meaningful and useful to non-tax personnel.
•  Coach and develop staff while managing staff workload effectively.
•  Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient tax reporting.

Other Functions:

•  Suggests improvements and automations.
•  Tax planning.
•  Performs additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

Sitting, standing, bending, manual dexterity, reaching, visual acuity, lifting up to 10lbs

Minimum Requirements:

•  Bachelor's degree with major or emphasis in Accounting or Taxation
•  CPA or MST
•  5 years corporate income tax compliance and provision in public accounting or private industry
•  Knowledge of US Federal and state tax laws
•  Experience in US tax research & documentation
•  Experience in US tax audits
•  People and project management skills
•  Cross functional teams collaboration skills
