Job description
Townsen Memorial is looking to hire a MRI Tech to join our team in Spring, TX ! The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable, driven, and a team player.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up and operate MRI scanners used in the medical diagnosis and/or treatment of patients
- Ensure the procedure produces quality images and information for the health care professional to make an accurate diagnosis
- Positions patient and set up and adjust equipment to obtain the best quality MRI image of the specific body area requested by the physician
- Takes preventative steps to ensure safety of patients and fellow staff
- Takes extra care to screen all patients to make sure patients do NOT have any metal in or on the patient's body
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate degree radiological technology
- One year of radiology experience in a healthcare facility
- Radiology Technologist Certification
- Medical Resonance Imaging
