MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma with a minimum of four years' related experience. Additional education may be used to meet the experience requirement: an Associate degree may be substituted for two years experience, and a Bachelor's degree may be substituted for four years experience.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
-Four years' of life sciences lab related experience is preferred.
-Bachelor's degree and two years' of life sciences lab related experience are strongly preferred
-Completion of Lab Safety Traininge e.g.:C14 Certification (Bio Safety)
-Computer literacy - Mac computers and experience using databases and proving support for computer-assisted instruction
-Knowledge of media preparation
-Ability to prepare chemical solutions
-Ability to use and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments/computers
-Experience in culturing and maintaining microorganisms
-Experience with preserved animals
COMPENSATION
$ 52,559 - $ 54,222
Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
