Job description

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is hiring a Soldering Technician for our Fortune 500 client in Fremont, CA. The ideal candidate will provide technical support, solder components, read schematics, and complete repair reports. Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assembly to IPC-A-610 E class 2 and class 3 requirements
• Inspection electronic components on PCBs and record defective ones.
• Perform go/no-go testing of basic electronic equipment using written and verbal test procedures and basic test equipment after soldering.
• Wiring and connector placement (both solder and crimp type)
• Inspection, soldering and the rework of Through Hole components on PCBs.
• Solder leads onto electrical components.
• Visually inspecting and accurate measurements (measuring tools/gauging devices)
• Complete necessary repair report
• Read schematics.
• Soldering electronic components
• Solders broken parts or covers holes to repair leaks.
• Clean and prepare products.
• Work on various stages of soldering wires and assemble components.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Inspection, soldering and the rework of through-hole components on PCBs.
• Electronic assembly and able to use multimeters and scope.
• ITC 610 or J-Standard certifications is a plus.
• Excellent hand/eye coordination
• Working knowledge of IPC 610
• Ability to identify component values.

Education and Experience:

• 2-5 year of soldering experience
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• 2+ years of prior assembly experience is preferred.
