Our client is currently searching for an AutoCAD Drafter to join the Water/Wastewater team in the Boca Raton, Florida office. This CAD Drafter will, under the direction of the Sr. Designer, work on water and wastewater related projects, primarily focused on developing design drawings and support during project planning in the form of figures. Duties may include Civil, Mechanical, Structural drafting of water/wastewater treatment systems, process piping, distribution / collection systems, pumping systems, stormwater systems, and other municipal utility designs.
- Drafting and designing basic redlines.
- Assist in the design of mechanical systems.
- Learning more advanced skills within AutoCAD.
- Printing and compiling files.
- Helping office with anything needed.
- Assist in drafting for all water wastewater treatment plants, infrastructure, and pipeline projects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications: - Preferred formal training in AutoCAD, through a certification program or technical degree OR previous experience in similar discipline of AutoCAD drafting.
- 2 years of experience drafting, in an engineering work environment, is preferred.
- Reliable, detail oriented self-starter who takes ownership of assigned tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Revit and/or Autocad Civil 3D are preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Work Environment - This person will work in an office with other engineers, drafters, field staff, and admins.
