Job Summary:
Preferred Care at Home of Central Fairfield is seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver for immediate hire at our Danbury, Connecticut location. This is a part-time, hourly position in the healthcare/medical industry within our franchise. The caregiver will provide assistance and support to clients in their homes, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life.
Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services to clients in their homes, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility and provide safe transfers.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Companionship and social interaction with clients to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Follow care plans and communicate any changes or concerns to the care team.
- Keep detailed records of daily activities and observations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a caregiving role.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy nature.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team.
