The Sr Database Engineer will provide technical oversight of cloud based databases and integration to development teams for the Wendy’s Brand. The candidate will lead various new initiatives for research and development of Cloud Native database solutions within digital technology. They will lead during the design, development, testing and implementation of programs / solutions for integration into the Wendy’s infrastructure to support business initiatives. Acts as a functional liason between IT groups and business partners, candidate will be required to communicate and collaborate with multiple IT functions such as Digital, Security, and Infrastructure. Owns technical design and is responsible for the succesful transition of development projects into production from a database perspective. The candidate will work closely with our platform engineers to ensure implementations are automated and scalable.They will lead heavily in the migration of digital technologies to GCP and the globalization of the digital platform.

The base pay range for this position is listed below. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position. * The target annual bonus for this role is 10% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.
