The Opportunity
In this role you will be responsible for leading transformational projects for all aspects of compliance related to parts sales variance (Merchandising funds) processes, as well as leading periodical audits and corrective actions post audits.
You will act as the single point of contact for all Sales Variance ((Merchandising funds) policies and guidelines and lead the effort to shift to proactive & intentional compliance practices
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include but are not limited to Audits Coordination and Execution :
- Audits - IAAS / Deloitte
- Sox Audits
- Ad-hoc Audits requests
- Go to person for the Team on compliance (able to provide a compliance and Business view)
- Main Liaison with Enterprise Strategy Division Compliance Director
- Main Liaison with Tax & legal team
Administration & General Housekeeping
- Review / Organize / Improve / update all compliance related documentation.
- Coordinate regular changes needed in the Sales Variance policies
- Training & communication
- Review / improve / update all compliance related training to be integrated in the program Creator's guide
- Own & Update the Global Parts Pricing website content for Sales variance documents
- Lead Monthly sessions with Program approvers to discuss / document exceptions.
Strategic Operational Projects & Tasks:
- Lead the review for the Yearly Claims approvals Threshold / Risk analysis
- Lead strategic project to move to intentional Post claims Audits by dealer / region / program.
- Create a Methodology / simplified execution plan to Execute the quarterly Post claims Audits
- Lead a project to improve the stacking Audits / Methodology / simplified execution plan
- Execute the quarterly Post claims Audits
- Lead the project to improve the duplicate / errors debit process
- Implement methodology for tracking and measuring of Debits / audits patterns.
- Coordinate Audits for strategic programs: Cat vantage / Cat Fi / Services Commitment / EISP
Required Qualifications:
- College degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting or Related Field
- 3-4 years previous experience in Pricing, Audit, Marketing, Finance or Accounting
Desired Qualifications:
- High level of interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
- Ability to drive change and transformation
- Strong Project Management skills / 6 sigma would be a +
- Ability to diagnose and find innovative solutions to unique and complex problems continuously
- Metrics driven / oriented
- Experience with Parts sales variance policies, compliance, and practices
- Knowledge of Caterpillar products, Product Applications or Merchandising programs
