GRADUATE NURSE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
OVERVIEW Through a collaborative partnership with Miami Dade College, Mount Sinai Medical Center is committed to providing scholarship and employment opportunities for individuals interested in growing their nursing profession. The ideal candidate considers nursing their true calling and is committed to making a meaningful impact in patients' lives.
This program provides $10,000 towards tuition, books, and school supplies at Miami Dade College School of Nursing. The scholars selected to receive the scholarship commit to completing their clinical rotations Mount Sinai, and remain continuously employed in a Registered Nurse position for a consecutive period of 24 months following their graduation/state licensure.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS - Be enrolled in the Generic Track Nursing Program at Miami Dade College School of Nursing.
- Maintain full-time enrollment in the BLSON program.
- Have and maintain a minimum cumulative 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA).
- Have no failures in the BLSON program.
APPLICATION PROCESS - Complete application and submit along with most recent resume, acceptance letter and official transcripts.
- Eligible candidates will be interviewed by the scholarship program selection committee.
- Selected scholars will be notified prior to the start of their semester.
