Painter- M&E Our hospitality company is in search of a proficient and seasoned in-house painter to become a valued member of our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the visual appeal of our rental homes by meticulously painting various surfaces, thereby ensuring impeccable finishes. Additionally, they will uphold our commitment to cleanliness and safety standards within the work environment. This position demands unwavering attention to detail, superb time management abilities, and a knack for thriving both autonomously and cooperatively within a team setting. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities:  • Surface Preparation : Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary to ensure proper adhesion and finish.  • Paint Application : Apply paint, varnish, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers to achieve desired results while maintaining quality standards.  • Color Matching: Mix paints to match specified colors or customer preferences, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the painting process.  • Quality Control : Inspect finished work to identify any imperfections, drips, or uneven coverage, and make necessary touch-ups or corrections to achieve a flawless finish.  • Equipment Maintenance : Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools regularly to ensure optimal performance and longevity.  • Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while handling and using painting materials, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.  • Project Management: Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.  • Communication : Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and other team members to coordinate tasks, report progress, and address any issues or concerns that may arise.  Qualifications: • Proven experience as an in-house painter or similar role. • Proficiency in various painting techniques, tools, and materials, including brushes, rollers, sprayers, and paints.  • Knowledge of color mixing and matching to achieve desired colors and finishes.  • Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and sq footage specifications to determine painting requirements.  • Excellent attention to detail and quality standards, with a focus on delivering superior results.  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.  • Commitment to safety procedures and regulations, with a focus on maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others.  Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.  • Have a flexible schedule, able to work weekends.  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) for extended periods.  • Able to utilize a hand truck for moving boxes and shipment. • Must be able to bend, stand, sit, climb steps,  • Comfortable working at heights, including using ladders or scaffolding as needed.  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precise painting tasks.  • Must be able to verbally converse in English.
