General Manager Plant Operations

Job description
Adecco Permanent Placement has partnered to find a Plant Manager to oversee plant operations of a roughly 225 person facility. Reporting to the group president, this position has 8 direct reports and will:
- Optimize operations: including quality, production, and asset protection and optimization, with responsibility for P&L and sales
- Assist in identifying new business opportunities
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
- Drive revenue growth
- Ensure continued improvement in safety, team member relations, customer satisfaction, quality, complete and on-time delivery, lean manufacturing, limited equipment downtime, and cost reductions
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet production demands
Candidates should possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 10+ years manufacturing experience
- Strong P&L management experience; Mergers and Acquisitions experience preferred
- Strong Structural Steel industry knowledge
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain management.
- Experience with business-to business sales growth
- Experience in implementation of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement methodologies
This position offers:
- $150-200K annual salary with 25% bonus eligibility
