This position can be in Denver or Atlanta 

At CoBank, the Associate Relationship Manager manages or assists with management of account relationships with existing and prospective customers in assigned market and/or industry segment. Assists with implementation of marketing and account servicing plans to capitalize on marketing opportunities. May develop new business and/or manage existing portfolio. Supports the achievement of profitability and credit goals for the division through day-to-day management of account relationships. Supports senior staff in deal structure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Manages or assists with managing the day-to-day customer relationship of accounts. Meets with customers and gathers information on their businesses, needs, strategic direction, and earnings to determine business opportunities.

· As assigned, calls on potential or existing customers to develop new business and increase or retain existing business.

· Cross-markets CoBank’s products and services to meet goals for assigned accounts. Implements plans to capitalize on marketing opportunities.

· Contributes to the analysis of financial data for new or renewed financing arrangements.

· Contributes to decisions on loan terms and loan servicing actions within approved limits on assigned accounts.

· Contributes to management profitability and credit quality targets for portfolio.

· Assists with providing guidance to credit analysis area in the development and analysis of financial background data for new or renewed loans.

· Prudently services accounts to protect CoBank and minimize losses.

· Develops and maintains expertise in a designated market/industry segment and keeps abreast of industry trends, technology, regulatory requirements and the competitive environment.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance or relevant discipline required

Work Experience

• 2 years of relevant experience (preferably in banking, financial services industry or agriculture)
• Basic knowledge of technical standards, industry trends, technology and regional/national regulatory requirements.
• Basic knowledge of competitive environment and practices in customer’s industry.
• Basic knowledge of cross marketing, with the ability to deliver marketing presentations to potential and existing customers.
• Ability to analyze all components on standard credits.

Compensation Information

• Estimated Base Salary Range: $89,570-$120,919
• Short Term Incentive Bonus: 20%
