Unit Clerk Temp to Perm position FT (M-F, 9-5) $18 - $20/hr DOE On-Site Newtown Square, PA

A day in the life of a Unit Clerk - Prepares and compiles medical records in the Care Center
- Schedules appointments and arranges transportation for Care Center residents
- Assists nursing staff with admissions and discharge paperwork
- Covers front desk reception area as needed and serves as backup receptionist for lunch breaks as scheduled
- Answers phone at nursing station and directs the calls appropriately and promptly in a friendly manner
- Keeps nursing station organized and clean
Requirements for the Unit Clerk position - 1 year clinical/administrative experience in a healthcare setting
- Computer knowledge of Word, Excel & Outlook
- Experience with Point Click Care or other EMR software is a plus
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Organized and detail oriented
- Able to maintain composure and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
