Perdue AgriBusiness is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our Animal Nutrition Team in Salisbury, MD . The essential purpose of the Customer Service Representative (CSR) role is to ensure customer satisfaction and effective management of fatty acid Animal Nutrition products, with a particular focus on serving the West Coast. This requires the CSR to work hours that cover different time zones, ensuring timely order processing, product movement, and delivery in alignment with the specific demands of the West Coast clientele and broader company objectives.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage order processing & customer request and updating shipping profiles in AgTech.
• Coordinate shipment details with customers and vendors. 
• Collaborate with operations and warehouses for inventory management. 
• Work with transportation for rate and equipment availability. 
• Handle load orders in AgTech, including creation, update and cancellation. 
• Support the Sales Team in resolving accounts receivable issues and contract maintenance. 

Minimum Education

• Required: High School Graduate or GED 
• Preferred: BS Degree (AgriBusiness, Business, or Transportation) 

Experience Requirements

• 1 -3 years of previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment 
• Strong oral and written communication skills 
• Strong interpersonal skills 
• Strong computer skills 
• Understanding of standard software applications 
• Knowledge of handling and storage facility operations and technologies 

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Normal climate-controlled office spaces. Able to operate a motor vehicle and travel to and from customer locations. Able to use standard office equipment to include telephone, computers, copiers etc. Able to move freely about plant and customer facilities. May be exposed to external weather conditions to include rain, snow and extreme temperatures (0 - 100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0 - 100%), and noise (50db to 100db). Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
