Job description

Tabor Academy seeks a compelling and passionate educator to teach core history and elective economics courses in the History and Social Sciences Department. Year-long surveys in world and United States are the core graduation requirement and the classes stress historical thinking, reading, writing, and discussion skills. Economics classes introduce micro and macroeconomics, and their application through case studies and contemporary examples.  As a residential school, Tabor considers the work of faculty broadly, and we engage with students both during and beyond the academic day. Faculty at Tabor can expect to contribute two seasons in the co-curricular and/or athletic program and to be responsible for weekly evening and monthly weekend supervisory duties. This position can include housing.??

The successful candidate will :

Qualifications

Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

Preferred: Experience secondary or post-secondary instruction and/or in residential oversight.
