Job description

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, is seeking an endocrinologist. Applicant must have been granted an M.D. degree or equivalent from an approved LCME medical school, must have satisfactorily completed an Internal Medicine residency program from an ACGME accredited program, and must be board-certified in Internal Medicine and board-eligible in the subspecialty of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism by the time of appointment. Board certification in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at the time of appointment is preferred. Candidate must be eligible for Texas medical licensure. Duties will include providing subspecialty care and consultations in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.

Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule.

This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.
