Burgess & Niple is seeking a Technical Support Analystto join our team in Tempe, AZ focusing on end-user experience for professional engineers and planners by removing technical obstacles that interfere with productivity and help implement new systems as we meet our growing company’s needs.
B&N Technical Support Analyst Responsibilities
- Improve users’ day-to-day experience with technology as part of a team providing physical PC builds and component replacement in laptops and desktops, virtual machine builds, and shipping configured equipment to offices around the country.
- Grow your skills learning how to develop automated tools to deploy and manage end-user devices, implement, and maintain desktop images, software packages, and end-user management systems in a Microsoft environment.
- Troubleshoot help desk calls and help users resolve issues either in-person or by phone.
- Support recommended end-user device standards and document standard processes and procedures in a collaborative IT team distributed throughout the country.
- Engage with users in a thriving organization that constantly adapts and evolves with diverse engineering software like AutoCAD, Bentley Microstation, Revit, Civil3D and Bluebeam Revu and diverse environments, such as virtual desktops, cloud-based services, and traditional hardware.
- After the first 90 days, assist in the on-call support rotation for one week about every eleven weeks.
Skills and Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other IT related discipline preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and training
- 3 - 5 years of related experience in support of endpoint systems and devices
- Experience in desktop support for CAD applications to include AutoCAD and Bentley Open Roads Designer is preferred
- Certificates in A+, Network+ are preferred
- Desire to grow and learn professionally
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work Monday – Friday, 8 hours / day
- Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
- Possess basic problem-solving skills
