Job Description:
The finance analyst is responsible for managing the companys Amazon Walmart & other eCommerce billing reports intercompany billing reports accounts payable processes including invoice input and generation of disbursements accounts receivable processes as well as other assigned general accounting responsibilities. The ability to work both independently and within a team in a fastpaced high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness is critical.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage Amazon business accounting on Seller Central and Vendor Central including:
- Tracking monthly advertising spend and ensuring accurate allocation across brands
- Generating Monthly Billing Reports by brand reviewing and obtaining signoff from key stakeholders and ensuring timely payment
- Handling Inventory Counts and Profit Margin per SKU
- Conducting margin analysis and reviewing reorder recommendations
- Validating Landed Cost of products
- Creating profit and loss analysis on Inventory level and for the company as a whole
- Perform intercompany billing reconciliation
- Identify billing errors/discrepancies manage payment periods and reconcile billing reports to ensure accuracy
- Handle financial communication between ExKaliber and 67 other portfolio companies
- Review invoices from Amazon to prevent overcharges on FBA fees and file cases for discrepancies
- Manage missing inventory cases and record inventory movements
- Oversee returns management accounting and reimbursement for damages
- Develop and maintain Cash Flow Forecast and Sales Forecasts Financial Budgets and Profit and Loss reports
- Generate Purchase Orders and manage accounts payable processes
- Track payments and expenditures verify payments due and schedule payments
- Interface with vendors regarding finance/billing inquiries
- Own and manage Accounts Receivable Process including invoice and report generation and collecting aging invoices
- Prepare analyses of accounts produce monthly reports and reconcile processed work
- Ensure proper documentation is in place for financial transactions and audit preparedness
- Reconcile accounts and participate in the audit process
- Provide monthly budget/forecast to actual variance analysis and commentary
- Assist in the monthly capital expenditure forecast
- Analyze the ecommerce P&L to identify opportunities to reduce expenses and increase profitability
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in accounting finance or a related discipline
- 3 years of relevant experience in eCommerce and inventorybased consumer products
- MUST HAVE : 3 years experience with Amazon seller business accounting (Seller Central and Vendor Central)
- Experience in Walmart platform is highly desirable
- MUST HAVE: Strong Accounting Skills with Inventory Management experience
- MUST HAVE: Expertise in Excel (intermediate to advanced level)
- MUST HAVE: Knowledge of QuickBooks Online or comparable systems
- Outstanding attention to detail and ability to deliver timely accurate results
- Comfortable creating and documenting new business processes and accounting policies
- Analytical thinker with the ability to understand information across various products and disciplines
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fastpaced environment
