What you will do?:
- Provide support for customers and sales team
- Enter and modify sales-related data (i.e., order entry, PO cancellations, PO changes, data entry) into our company’s internal system
- Manage vendor and customer backlog
- Manage open order reports, tracking pending orders, customer details, product specifications, and delivery statuses to ensure timely fulfillment and customer satisfaction
- Return Material Authorization (RMA) liaison between the customer and operations team
- Partner daily with the Warehouse team to ensure timely deliveries
- Answer customer inquiries quickly and efficiently, ensuring adherence to service level via phone/e-mail
- Utilize excellent verbal communication skills to interact with visitors, customers, warehouse, accounting, and internal staff members of various interpersonal styles
- Daily use of Microsoft (MS) Office platforms (Excel, Outlook, Calendar)
- Contribute and implement new ideas to help improve and create ideal operational processes
- Manage expectations and projects with a professional attitude by complying with company policies and procedures at all times
- Partner with internal resources (e.g., field sales, inside sales, branch manager, product management, etc.) and external resources (e.g., suppliers, manufacturing facilities, etc.)
- Perform other duties as required/assigned by manager
What you bring to the table!:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Associates degree or 2+ year of experience in a sales support position or office environment - Proficient in the use of MS Office, with focus on demonstrated working knowledge of MS Excel
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and task follow-through
- Ability to work well in time-sensitive situations where customer satisfaction is the ultimate goal
- Ability to apply creative problem-solving techniques to situations using sound business judgment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in an effective, timely and professional manner
- Team-oriented operating style with effective interpersonal skills that allow successful business interactions with individuals of all leadership styles, personalities, and career levels (e.g., sales, accounting, logistics, warehouses)
Hourly Wage: Starting at $22.00 per hour + montly bonus potential
