General Description of the Role:

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing day-to-day HR generalist and administrative support to the Wilderness Trail KY facility. This role will develop and deliver on the dynamic people, capability, and culture agenda to enable the effective and efficient operation of Wilderness Trail. This role works closely with the workforce to manage policy interpretation, investigation and resolution, workforce planning, recruiting, on-boarding, and off-boarding. In addition, this position will be heavily involved in engagement efforts across the site including but not limited to employee activities, community involvement, and DEIB.

Key Responsibilities and Activities:

Organizational Development:

· Proactively partner with functional leadership to identify organizational, talent, culture, or morale opportunities.

· In partnership with the HR Director, conduct organizational/issue assessments and develop sound, business-oriented solutions.

Talent Management & Employee Relations:

· Provide day-to-day coaching and performance guidance to people managers.

· Facilitate the planning and lead the execution of the global Talent Management processes (e.g. Annual Performance Review, Talent Review & Succession Planning, Development Planning) for assigned client groups.

· Ensure compliance with Federal, state and local employment law and adherence to policies.

· Primary lead on employee relations issues in assigned client groups, conducting investigations, determining findings and aligning HR management and Legal on recommended actions.

· Contribute to the development and execution of programs/initiatives designed to improve the employer brand of Campari America.

Training & Development:

· Design, develop and facilitate custom trainings as needed to support capability gaps and contract administration for supervisors.

· Ensure a robust curriculum is in place to ensure people managers are well equipped to respond to and/or mitigate employee relations issues and drive strong performance.

· Work with external resources to negotiate the delivery of learning and/or development programs to meet organizational key needs.

· Work with employees and managers in assigned client group to develop customized, individual development plans as needed.

Compensation & Benefits Administration:

· In partnership with Benefits and Compensation, support the evolution and day-to-day management of the position and compensation structures in client group.

· Respond to general benefit inquiries and/or facilitate the resolution of issues with internal and/or external benefits resources.

· Assist Benefits with LOA administration and maintenance of the LOA Tracker.

General HR Functions & Administration:

· Contribute to the development of process improvement initiatives within HR to drive efficiencies and improve quality of services and deliverables.

· Contribute to the ongoing development and execution of core employer programs to drive a unique Campari branded experience and reputation as an employer of choice; such as, but not limited to Onboarding, Recognition etc.

· Serve as the Payroll Coordinator and provide support in payroll administration.

Recruiting:

· Source, select and hire qualified candidates to fill vacant Production Operations positions using cost-effective techniques and in accordance with company policies, procedures, and processes.

· Manage applicant flow to ensure availability of qualified candidates and compliance.

· Draft offer letters and the administration of all offers (internal and/or external) paperwork, ensuring it is completed timely and accurately.

· Assist with background checks, and partner with HR leaders to assist with general candidate management activities.

· Manage the Campari America On-Boarding program – responsible for facilitating the entire onboarding experience, including key stakeholder coordination and communications.

· Ensure that all new hire documents are completed, timely and accurately – managing the storage and retention to ensure ease of access and ability to audit as needed.

· Coordinate with key stakeholders such as, but not limited to, IT and Payroll to ensure new hires are enrolled in and/or have access to appropriate, systems and tools on day one and are quickly integrated to all Campari systems.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

o Education

o Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field is required.

Experience:

o A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing facility.

o A minimum of 5 years of experience supervising people or equivalent experience administering and coordinating departmental activities including interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating and developing employees.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

o Understanding of routine HR processes and procedures

o Proven ability to counsel and guide managers and employees in policy interpretation and compliance

o Working knowledge of state and federal labor laws.

o Demonstrated ability and proven experience in the area of employee relations: investigations, performance management, disciplinary action managements, etc.

o Ability to communicate, influence and partner effectively with plant supervisors/managers

o Excellent working knowledge and skill using Microsoft office tool suite (word, excel, power point, email etc.); strong level of excel to conduct analysis, KPI Management, etc.

o Strong attention to detail and proven ability to deliver on commitments and follow-up

o Ability to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment in prioritization and when to elevate issues for resolution

o Data/metrics orientation and ability to develop recommendations based on trend analysis and review
