The Crew Supervisor earns a competitive average income of $45,000-$60,000 a year , depending on their success at upselling products and services. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CREW SUPERVISOR
As a Crew Supervisor, you are the face of our company to the customer through the duration of each job, keeping them updated on progress and ensuring that they receive the best possible customer service. When changes need to be made, you execute the change order. You also have the opportunity to increase your income by upselling products. It is your responsibility to collect payment from the customer. You run jobs with a crew of up to three insulation installers. Under your leadership, they take pride in their work. Working closely with the production manager, you manage paperwork, contracts, materials, and labor on jobs as well as job training for crew members. You do a great job of protecting our company's reputation and job margins!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CREW SUPERVISOR
Specific insulation contracting experience is not required . First and foremost, we hire based on attitude . We provide ongoing training to attain industry certifications , including training at the National Energy Training Center in Seymour, CT.
Do you have excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information in layman's terms? Can you show empathy to both customers and employees? Do you have high integrity with advanced social skills? Are you able to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively? Do you enjoy mentoring others? Are you confident and decisive? Do you have an outgoing personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment? If so, you might just be perfect for this Insulation Supervisor position!
WORK SCHEDULE
This full-time construction position typically works Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM . The average crew stays out of town 6-8 days per month .
