A day in the life (just a few of the things you may do on any given day):
Applied Insight is seeking an experienced Atlassian Suite Administrator to manage Server & Data Center versions of the Atlassian Suite, including data backups, upgrades, and scheduled jobs.
Responsibilities for Atlassian Suite Administrator
- Install, operate, and maintain Server & Data Center versions of the Atlassian Suite
- Conduct data backups for the Atlassian Suite environment.
- Conduct upgrades for the Atlassian Suite environment.
- Plan and execute scheduled jobs for the Atlassian Suite Environment
- Conduct patching and remediate OS and Application interoperability issues in accordance with established DISA STGs
- Implement and maintain Atlassian Suite tools to meet customer requirements. (Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket, Crowd and Bamboo)
You will excel in this role if you are:
- A successful candidate will be an experienced Atlassian Administrator with a development background, strong Linux and Database skills.
What we are expecting from you (i.e. the qualifications you must have):
- Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of related experience (additional experience considered in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of 8 years as a Atlassian Suite Administration
- JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo and Crowd tool deployment, integration, and sustainment
- ACP-100 Jira Administrator certification
- Oracle Certified Professional, MySQL 8.0 Database
- Linux Foundation Certified System Admin (LFCS)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance

- Environments: Linux Ubuntu/CentOS
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Highly organized, structured, process oriented, and a self-starter
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
