An Inland Empire mid-sized distribution company is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. Reporting to the CFO, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for preparing financial reporting packages, ad hoc analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, board decks, dashboards, and KPIs. What do you need for this Senior Financial Analyst role?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field
- 4 years of finance experience
- Foundational knowledge of accounting
- Advanced Excel
What will you do in this Senior Financial Analyst role?
- Prepare and analyze financial reporting packages to ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP
- Conduct variance analysis and budget to actuals
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Create financial targets for various departments
- Financial modeling to support business planning and scenario analysis
- Prepare board decks that communicate organizational performance, trends, and strategic initiatives
- Design dashboards, metrics, and KPIs
- Partner with teams to understand job costing and analyze profitability
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements
