Job Summary:
The Data Analyst position will provide data analytics expertise formedical/healthcare entities and other organizations OSU-CHS is partnered with.This includes, but is not limited to, clarifying data requirements,participating in project scoping processes, generation and submission ofreports, assisting in investigating the problems in the fields of quality ofhealthcare, involve in quality improvement processes, manage, and coordinatevarious analytics projects. Thisposition will also assist with grant reporting, research support and otherinstitutional effort needs.

Requirements: 
*Bachelor's Degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other quantitative discipline or equivalent.
*2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Prior experience with analytics programs (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R, Tableau, etc.).
*Valid Driver's License

Skills, Proficiencies and Knowledge:

*Abilityto apply advanced mathematical and statistical techniques and principles intothe analysis of health-related data.
*Strong presentation skills, includingverbal and written communication skills. *Proficiency in data analysis languages including R, Python, SAS, SQLetc. *Strong knowledge of MS Office, toinclude Access, Excel, and other reporting applications like Tableau andrelational databases such as Microsoft SQL server. 
*Extensive background in statistical analysis,data visualization, optimization, process improvement, cost/benefit analysis,data mining, and predictive modeling skills. 
*Understanding of business principles to support development anddeployment of analytical solutions in clinical practices.

Preferred:
*Master's Degree 
*5+years of analytic and reporting experience with healthcare data preferred
*1+ years of experience of investigating the problems in the fields of qualityof healthcare and hospital operational efficiency using clinical data
*Experience in analytics programming languages (e.g., R, Python, Java, Perl,etc.) a plus.
