Job description

The Women’s Health Department at Ocean Health Initiatives is actively recruiting highly skilled providers to fill a host of vacant roles at the organization, including the Director of OB/GYN services, CNMs, and Women’s Health NPs, as detailed below. Company Intro: Ocean Health Initiatives, Inc. (OHI) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing quality, accessible and comprehensive primary health care to the residents of Ocean and Monmouth County; regardless of economic status.

Our Health Center Locations: Toms River, Lakewood, Little Egg Harbor, Freehold, Brick, and Manchester

OHI services include family and internal medicine, pediatrics, behavioral health, nutrition, OB/GYN women’s health, dental, family planning, specialty care, pharmacies, PrEP, and a STI clinic.


Candidates must reside in one of the following states: New Jersey, Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Wisconsin

Are you comfortable with in office visits only? There will be no hospital visits or deliveries.


Position Summary:

Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), the Certified Nurse Midwife in collaboration with Ocean Health Initiatives, Inc. (OHI), staff physicians, will provide primary care services to the patients of OHI that is consistent with established policies, procedures and protocols, the Joint Commission policies and procedures, OSHA standards, and other safety and health related codes and laws.
