Job description
ATC Healthcare Services, LLC a leading national medical staffing franchise corporation headquartered in Lake Success, New York is recruiting for a Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This position is in the office every day. The Staff Accountant will hold a key role in our Accounting/Finance department and be responsible for keeping financial records updated, routine clerical accounting duties and various ad hoc projects as needed. The Staff Accountant will also help in collecting pertinent information for third party audits. Duties can be varied and contribute to the overall activity in the Finance Department.

Main responsibilities of the Staff Accountant role include but are not limited to:
- File and maintain State licenses.
- Support timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close; including, assigned journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of all operational management accounts.
- Perform ad hoc requests related to reporting and data analysis to assist other team members, management, and audit requests
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Process in house deposits and client credit card payments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
- Experience in MS Office with strong use of Excel
- 1-3 years of business experience in Accounting/Finance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
We offer medical, dental, vision, FSA, life, critical illness insurance as well as a generous PTO policy and a 401k Plan. Depending upon experience, the annual salary range for this position is $70,000 to $75,000.
