Primary Role:

As a Remote Purchasing Agent, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient acquisition of essential supplies and services for our organization. This includes everything from sourcing quotes to negotiating contracts and maximizing our resources to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Excellence: You'll be responsible for sourcing supplies, equipment, and services needed for our operations and patient care. This involves analyzing quotes, proposals, and resources, and ensuring timely delivery.

Collaboration: Work closely with different departments to establish product standards and assist them in understanding purchasing policies.

Vendor Management: Evaluate vendors, match departmental specifications, and recommend substitutes when applicable to save costs or improve delivery.

System Expertise: Utilize our systems efficiently, including resolving system-generated reports and participating in product trials and evaluations.

Quality Improvement: Actively participate in quality assessment and improvement programs, identifying opportunities for enhancement and implementing necessary actions.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing or healthcare.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
