Job description

Job Duties To provide technical expertise and support for planning, developing, organizing & coordinating large programs/projects. To research, evaluate and recommend new technologies, methodologies, processes and products to achieve major innovative improvements. To collect, analyze, and produce financial and performance indicators and forecasts. To provide appropriate specifications for and coordination of programs that cross department/division lines. Manage the design, implementation, maintenance of advanced computer programs, including translation of business processes and requirements to system and performance requirements; apply best practices to ensure end to end accuracy of the systems’ business transactions; function as it lead of departmental and contract advanced computer program developers; collect/analyze financial and performance indicators to support internal and external reporting and resolution of problems/issues/concerns affecting the department; manage compliance with departmental SOX and vendor risk management controls; work effectively with diverse FedEx Opcos, Finance/Safety/HR/Operations departments, vendors, actuaries, auditors, brokers, insurance carriers; etc. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education Bachelor's degree/equivalent in business, computer science, accounting/finance, MIS or directly related discipline. Minimum Experience Seven (7) years related experience in project/program management, product development, systems design/development or business/financial planning and analysis. Experience in the use of project management/planning software. Experience in planning major projects including development of project proposals, business cases, schedules and financial justification. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and planning skills. Knowledge of standard program and financial management techniques. Preferred skills: Position directly responsible for the enforcement and delivery of 3PL / Fulfillment customer contracts in support of Critical Inventory Logistics (CIL) Global Distribution Center (GDC). Responsible for reporting on KPIs, daily customer interface regarding performance, administration support on active 3PL contracts (amendments, pricing, increased scope of work, special work requests outside of contract, etc.). Skills and experience in customer interface and interaction critical for success Responsible for interaction between operation and customer. Addresses customer escalations. Know all customer contracts inside and out. Ability to create and manage a regular calendar of customer interfaces (monthly, weekly, quarterly business reviews) and associated discussion agendas to actively manage dialog around operations performance and customer compliance against contracts. Manage active dialog across operations and customer support team Ability to directly facilitate revenue generation through issuance of surcharges for incremental work and ensuring customers are current on invoices outstanding FedEx Express is absolutely, positively your best choice for a career.
