Akamai Technologies, Inc. is hiring for the following role in Cambridge, MA (multiple openings):
Serve as primary network security contact for Akamai clients and ensure successful integration and support of customers on Akamai network platform. Learn and implement creative technical solutions to help Akamai customers leverage network security products and achieve desired outcomes. Understand customer requirements, leverage best practices and offer network security related consulting services that meet customer needs. Collaborate with integrated account team to evaluate customer web architecture, develop and deliver long term security strategy and cloud solutions. Work with security experts to solve technical problems, demonstrate Akamai's value, and communicate effectively with all audiences. Partner crossfunctionally to review and ensure integration efficiency, deliver high quality service and ensure customer engagement. Participate in training and projects contributing to best practices, maximizing efficiency, and improving methodology and service quality. Required Qualification:
Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or closely related information security analysis role.
Must have two (2) years of experience in the following: SQL, Tableau, Statistical Analysis, Oracle, software development life cycle, security testing, root cause analysis, and IT security management.
Compensation:
Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $102973-$154614 /year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
