Job Duties:
Brody School of Medicine's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is currently seeking to hire a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to work at Brody Outpatient Center. The Medical Assistant provides clinical support to the nursing and medical staff within the OB/ GYN Outpatient Clinic. This position is responsible for maintaining patient flow, performing patient work-up, assisting health care providers with clinic procedures, and performing basic laboratory tests. In addition, this assistant may schedule appointments, call prescriptions in to the pharmacy, or perform other clerical tasks as required to support the physician and nursing staff.
