At Boone we only have a nurse in the room. Nurses will not have a tech with them.
Also, as a Boone GI nurse, we do all the phases of care, including preop and recovery, not just procedures
Number of Beds/Cases: 20 - 25 cases per day
Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures: Endoscopy Colonoscopy
Gi lab is looking for someone to work in the pre-procedure area and recovery room. Pre- procedure work - completing admission process, starting IV. Phase II recovery room. Patients have rec'd monitored anesthesia care and discharge 30 minutes to 1 hour upon arrival to recovery room.
